Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, the outdoor playground redevelopment at St Catherines School reimagines play as an integral part of education, crafting an environment that nurtures children’s innate sense of wonder, sparks their imaginations, encourages exploration, fosters curiosity, and creativity, and instills a sense of belonging within a dynamic learning community.

The project’s focal point is nature-based play, offering a well-rounded mix of active and passive play features, aiding children in all aspects of their development.
